Abstract :
This paper proposes a general structure of ternary BiCMOS circuits, and analyzes the requirements of the driving signals of the output transistors. Then we derive the expressions of driving signals by means of Switch-signal theory. Based on it, the design technique of ternary BiCMOS circuits at switch level is presented. The design examples show that the designed ternary BiCMOS circuits not only have correct logic function but also have better performance.
