Abstract :
A novel high-speed serial transmitter, which is constructed by pre-driver and main driver, is demonstrated. The pre-driver and main driver consist N stages delay cells and driver cells, respectively. Properties of the transmitter can be adjusted by changing the delay time of delay cell and number of stages. The simulation result of transmitter indicated the slew rate of 480 Mb/s and output ramp of 0.9 ns are in agreement with the USB 2.0 specification.
