Abstract :
Though the fast development of Internet has led to the great change of our society, and the formation and development of e-business has brought out an extensive and deep commercial revolution, many firms are still confused by some primary questions, such as how to take advantage of Internet, what and which business model is optimal for their e-business, etc. Therefore, the present study is mainly focused on how an enterprise to develop its e-business. As a result, a new model, value alliance model for enterprise to develop e-business was carried out, which basing on the foundation of value chain and strategic alliance. The basic conception and the aim of value alliance (model) together with its forming process were mainly discussed in the paper. Furthermore, a comparison study was also conducted between the new model and traditional business model for their effect on value chain of an enterprise. It comes out that the value alliance model has an obvious time characteristics and is the optimal model for an enterprise to develop e-business in information age.
