  • Abstract
    Due to the ever-increasing global competition and great progress in information technologies, enterprises start to perform collaborative product development. To achieve collaborative product development, information sharing is a precondition. Therefore, how to best integrate such heterogeneous information distributed among various cooperating enterprises has become an extremely important subjects associated with collaborative product development. This study presents a hybrid ontology based approach that integrates information distributed among different collaborative enterprises supporting interoperability. This study: 1) designed an integration process for information of collaborative development, 2) developed techniques associated with the integration of heterogeneous information, and 3) gave a case to implement this model of integration.
