Abstract :
Xinpai has been used to coordinate activities consisting of business processes. However, the coordination between process agents cannot be described wholly only in terms of activities and their relationships. In this paper, a new kind of coordination mechanism between multi-agents is proposed using the extended-Xinpai. In order to make process agents collaborate in a more effective way, five basic operations are firstly given to describe the extended-Xinpai, and the relationship among process agents is further analyzed from the view of knowledge flow. Moreover, the multi-agent mechanism uses a distributed way to manage the extended Xinpai, which enhances the flexibility of workflow management to some extent. Finally, the paper review process is used to illustrate the Xinpai-driven multi-agent process coordination.
