Abstract :
The paper presents the configuration of the switched reluctance machine system, such as the machines, the power converters, the control strategies and the controllers. The nonlinear mathematical model of the system being the nonlinear model of the electrical network integrated with the two dimensions finite element model of the machine was advanced, no matter what the topologies of the main circuit of the power converter and the control strategies are used in the system. Based on the nonlinear mathematical model, the comparison of the simulated and the tested results of a three-phase switched reluctance motor drive prototype system were given. The simulated results of the prototype based on the nonlinear mathematical model tally with the tested results of the prototype. It is shown that the nonlinear mathematical model has the advantage in high precision.
