            Abstract : 
In this paper, a fast and accurate CAD tool of evanescent mode waveguide filters with circular dielectric resonators is proposed. The development of this CAD tool has been possible thanks to a novel analysis and design technique. The analysis tool applies a suitable combination of an analytical method and a hybrid technique that cope with the different parts of the filter structure. A combination of an evolutionary and the Nelder-Mead simplex algorithm is used to design the filters
