Abstract
The spatial-temporal characteristics of short electromagnetic pulses formed by a plane radiator array are investigated. The electromagnetic pulse is shown to essentially depend on the direction, so the notion of a pattern becomes non-simple. The influence of the distance between the radiators and the exciting current pulse length on the pattern formed by the peak amplitude is also studied
