Abstract :
The programs applied to the approximate synthesis of continuous pencil-beam antennas without side lobes are derived by the method of partial patterns. The electrical length of the antennas is given. The antenna current distribution is analysed with reference to the dependence of the length of the antenna and to the power of the polynomial, which approximates the pattern
