Abstract :
This paper reports the results of a system engineering research and development project, and presents an approach to a coordinated defense using both HK and SK weapons. A top-down system engineering approach was adopted including detailed analyses, tradeoffs, and simulation to evaluate system alternatives, interference, effectiveness, and weapon deployment doctrines. The solution can be implemented in existing naval weapon systems
