Abstract :
This paper proposed the aperture-coupling transition with a step structure with a hollow cavity in a laminated dielectric substrate, in order to widen the bandwidth of reflection and reduce the transmission loss than conventional dielectric-fully-filled waveguide. There is 10.8% bandwidth for the reflection below -20 dB. The transition is fabricated and the characteristics for the verification are measured
