Abstract :
In order to evaluate the perspectives of the SnO2 film in manufacturing microsensors, a self-made semimicro-biosensor for glucose is studied. The electric and electrocatalytic proprieties of the SnO2 film were established by EIS measurements. It was found that the semiconductive properties of the n-type Sb doped SnO2 film (Sn:Sb=45:2) are appropriate for the manufacture of the semimicro-biosensor which showed an almost Nernstian sensitivity for 6 days. These results suggest that when deposited by techniques compatible with microelectronic devices the SnO2 film may by successfully used in manufacturing microsensors
