Abstract :
A novel dual-band planar monopole antenna has been proposed. A dual band with wide bandwidth characteristics is observed which covers GSM, DCS, PCS, UMTS, and ISM bands. The results obtained clearly indicate that the proposed antenna is capable of generating good omnidirectional monopole like radiation pattern in all the frequency bands
