Abstract :
An analytical design procedure for forward path servo loop compensation is discussed, applicable to both continuous and discrete time systems. Compensator design criteria include the following error, phase margin, parameter sensitivity, and disturbance rejection. The algorithm can be implemented in a PID controller configuration
