Abstract :
This paper investigates the influence of the grid density, i.e. the amount of nonnegligible wavelet coefficients (Haar) used to represent the electromagnetic field, on integral parameters, like scattering parameters. A band-stop filter based on an unbalanced composite right/left-handed transmission line (CRLH-TL) is the specific example evaluated. The TL-based metamaterial (MTM) has been simulated with the recently presented extended equivalent circuit (EEC) FDTD
