Abstract :
A compact low mutual coupling multi-antenna with two orthogonal dipole antennas and integrated baluns is proposed for MIMO channel measurements in this paper. The phase centers of the two printed antennas are compact to distinguish the space fading in small scale in the channel measurements. The two printed antennas are arranged without intersection of the conductors except at the ground plate to lower the close current circle between two feed ports, so the mutual coupling of the two compact printed antennas is low. Moreover, the far-field of each printed antenna is close to that of an idea dipole antenna, so the multi-antenna maintains the correlation characteristics of the MIMO channel in the measurements.
