  • Abstract
This work discusses the results and the methodology used for modeling the control dynamic of two DG Distributed Generation technologies: micro turbine and photovoltaic. The models were developed from laboratory tests results using black box models and classical control theory. In the laboratory test setup the sources were connected between them and with resistive electrical loads by a switch and a measurement system. Different operational test conditions were executed and the models were validated for these conditions. Simulations results were compared with laboratory results and the models validated by the multiple correlation coefficient. The aim of this work is to show a methodology that may be used for modeling the dynamics of these DG technologies from basic datasheet information and current and voltage signals acquired at access system points, when specific information about the controllers of DG sources and electronic converters it is not available. This models could be used for evaluates the DG impacts in the stability and protection of electrical distribution conventional systems.
