            Abstract : 
Frequency hopping techniques have become popular in military radio communication, mobile communication, modern radar and sonar echo location systems. The frequency slots used are chosen pseudorandomly by a code which is called an FH sequence. A method is presented for the construction of families of frequency hopping sequences based on pseudorandom sequences over GF(p) with period L=pn-1 and two-level autocorrelation. The relationship between the Hamming correlation of the family of FH sequences and the autocorrelation of pseudorandom sequence is also derived in this paper
