  • Abstract
    Novel waveguide circuits for microwave and millimeter wave applications based on electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structures are presented. The following aspects of the problem are discussed: fundamentals of compensating sources technique (CST) for EBG circuits design, numerical analysis of regular waveguides inside EBG arrays, analysis and experimental investigation of EBG components.
