Research on distance education based on cloud computing

The features of cloud computing and distance education are introduced firstly. Then the problems in current distance education are put forward. The application of cloud computing on distance education mainly includes: construction of distributed distance education resource service system, construction of architecture focused on service, simplifying the organization of video resources. Next a framework of Hadoop-based distance education platform is illustrated. The influence of cloud computing on distance education consists of accomplishing the integration of distance education resources, realizing sharing resource of distance education, improving the speed to access video resource of distance education and enhancing the dynamic flexibility.
