Abstract
Novel waveguide devices and antennas for microwave and millimeter wave applications based on electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structures are presented. The following aspects of the problem are discussed: numerical analysis of elementary and complex EBG power dividers and antenna arrays on their base and analysis of systems of coupled EBG waveguides and design of beam-forming networks (BFN).
