Abstract :
The spatial domain imaging model of micro-zooming is established. According to the model, the relationship between observed images and ideal high resolution image is given as a set of large, sparse and inconsistent linear equations. And the high resolution image can be reconstructed by solving the equations. The procedure of micro-zooming is equivalent to change the positions and areas of CCD sensor elements, which are related to the magnification of optical system and the locations of the sensor elements respectively. So micro-zooming can be considered as a special case of the micro- translation imaging, which can realize subpixel imaging by translating the CCD sensor in subpixel level during imaging. Ultimately, the experiment concerned on subpixel imaging of area- array CCD is given. Experiment results show that, by micro-zooming, the resolution of imaging system can be enhanced markedly.
