Abstract :
Large particle size variation method was developed and tested for the computer simulation of pulse gas discharge inside dielectric cell via large particles-in-cells (PIC) method. Simulations were carried out with and without large particles´ size variation. Comparison between these simulations´ results was held for discharge current waveforms, particles´ numbers, spatial locations and velocity distributions. Results agrees with each other qualitatively and, in most cases, quantitatively. The main flaw of the large particles´ variation method is additional digital noise.
