Abstract :
LRDE has set up an automated planar near field measurement facility with a size of 18 m×12 m×10 m. This paper discusses anechoic chamber related issues, such as the requirement of the absorbers, quiet zone etc. which were faced during the design stage. A novel technique to enhance the quiet zone with commercially available absorbers, with -40 to -50 dB reflectivity is explained
