Abstract :
In order to improve the segmentation effect of image with high noise, a fast thresholding segmentation method is proposed. Based on two-dimension histogram of image, parallel segmentation approach is introduced. Two-dimension thresholding problem is converted into one-dimension thresholding problem by projection. At the same time, the noise in image is filtered with neighborhood average. The experimental result shows that, the proposed method greatly increases computational speed, reduces noise influences on segmentation result, and finally removes noise pixels.
