Abstract
A general-purpose cooling schema for using simulated annealing in a Boltzmann machine is presented. Because this coding schema is deduced from the behavior of each unit, one can expect that it is not problem-dependent and therefore can be used for any kind of problem. It is proved that this schema converges in an infinite time towards the global optimum. Simulation results on the convergence speed of the cooling schema are presented
