Abstract
The paper presents theoretical time and frequency analysis of signals used in modern ultra-wideband (UWB) systems. This analysis is an important part of proposed complex approach to design of UWB antennas. Three popular pulses are described: Gaussian and Rayleigh pulses and UWB wavelet. Different types of impulse modulation used in UWB systems were described and the results of computer simulation are shown in the paper.
