Abstract :
Based on the uniform geometric diffraction theory method the algorithms and programs for calculation of directive patterns of the orthogonal components of the electric field intensity vector of a dipole with the various orientation, located inside pi-figuration finite size infinitely thin perfectly conducting corner reflector, throughout the observation space in the far zone are developed. The analysis of the patterns and the dependences of the radiation resistance, the directive gains and the back to front ratio on the distance between the dipole and the reflector were carried out at varying the lateral ledges width. Diffraction effects on the ledges considerably improve electrodynamic radiation characteristics of the dipole oriented parallely to them.
