  • Abstract
    Maintainability analysis method combined with FMECA and FTA is proposed for the failure analysis of a type of diesel engine combustion system. Failure modes and cause analysis for this type of diesel engine combustion system are identified, and the hazard is analyzed. Finally, the real failure situation of this diesel engine is presented to validate the analysis results from the proposed method, which can be used to conduct the maintenance activities.
