Abstract :
The study of complex phenomena of heat and mass transfers generated by temperature and concentration gradients imposed on the inlet was motivated by the need to improve knowledge on the thermosolutal and dynamic behavior of shear flows type jets. A numerical study based on the finite volume method is realized in a co-flow jet with heat and mass transfers in forced convection regime. The range of Reynolds numbers is between 100 and 1000. The study focuses on the effect of the buoyancy forces and viscosity on the thermosolutal and dynamic behavior of the flow. The influence of the nozzle emission conditions: velocity, temperature and concentration on the dynamics, thermal and mass flow parameters are referred in order to characterize the heat and mass transfer phenomena.
