Abstract :
After characteristics of energy detection and high-order spectrum detection being analysed, Power-Law detection methods based on energy detection or high-order spectrum detection were studied according to traits of underwater acoustic transient signals. For better use of statistic information in underwater acoustic transient signals, these two Power-Law detectors presented in this paper were jointed to be a dual-channel Power-Law intelligent detector, which integrates strongpoints of these two Power-Law detectors. Its validity was proved through simulation experiments when underwater acoustic transient signals was detected, and anechoic tank experimentation for it was designed. It can adapt to more atrocious underwater acoustic environment and improve performance to detect underwater acoustic transient signals.
