Abstract :
An ultra low profile inverted L antenna located within the rectangular conducting plane has been analyzed. In this paper, two types of inverted L antennas are proposed. The directivity of 3.3 dBi is obtained in the case of inverted L antenna composed of the coaxial cable, and 1.87 dBi in the case of inverted L antenna composed of CPW. This antenna is promising as the antenna for the mobile terminal of the WiMAX system.
