Abstract
This paper proposes a solar-based steam generation for Bioethanol production. Aspen Hysys® and Matlab® are integrated to perform a simulation-based analysis by using dynamic models that have been already validated in related literature. Real environment data is used to feed solar collector field model in order to analyze steam generation viability. It is shown that solar collector field is able to provide the necessary steam flow for the considered scenario.
