Abstract
Due to the complexity structure of multi-baseline interferometers and the intractability of equalization reserve between channels of interferometer, a new single observer passive location method with phase difference rate of change information solely was presented. The Cramer-Rao lower bound(CRLB) of this method was analyzed, then the location geometric dilution of precision(GDOP) under different baseline direction and different observer maneuvering modes was investigated. The results indicate that observer movement and attitude should take some changes in location process when the passive location system utilizing phase difference rate of change information.
