Abstract :
Based on Bayesian statistics, this paper presents a novel P2P trust model BTtrust. The history records of transaction and prior beliefs are used to derive the global trust value of every node. Every node trades with peers with high trust values. Mathematical analysis and simulation results show BTtrust can resist attacks of malicious peers and improve the successful download rate of the whole P2P system.
