Abstract :
Symmetry properties of phase responses of 2D filters are reported. The classes of functions that possess the various types of symmetries in their phase responses are determined. The relationships between the magnitude symmetry and phase symmetry that a filter frequency response may possess are also established. Characteristics of the factors that possess the different standard symmetries in their magnitude response are also discussed.<>
