Abstract :
Adaptive antenna arrays is an efficient technique to enhance the performance of a system subjected to multiple interferers in a multipath channel. While algorithms applicable to long coded CDMA systems have been proposed, a comparison of these in a uniform basis has only been presented in a previous work. This paper aims to fill this gap for different WCDMA space-time receivers. The main results are included. The employed simulation system combines two known models, and was conceived to fit the measured data presented. Three main aspects were considered: the degree of space and time filtering; number of fingers of the Rake receiver and number of elements of the linear antenna array, the algorithm type; pilot-based, blind and semi-blind, and the physical arrangement of the antenna array circular and linear
