  • Abstract
    Lean maintenance theory is an advanced maintenance concept and method, which is formed aiming at the waste phenomena existing in most of the equipment maintenance and the lacking of maintenance theory and technique research. This paper mainly analyses several key technical characteristics related to lean maintenance: improved RCM theory, root cause analysis, improved FMEA technique, value stream analysis (VSA). This paper explores the realization of lean maintenance by putting forward updating maintenance concept, stressing on academic innovation and integration, attaching importance to application and popularizing lean maintenance theory and enhancing the culture construction of lean maintenance theory, which provide powerful technique supporting and theoretical basis for the equipment maintenance reform.
