Abstract
This paper presents a numerical technique to compute the values of the plane-wave scattering coefficients of a general slab from the knowledge of the spatial distributions of the incident and the scattered fields. To validate the technique, results are shown for an infinite-size lossless homogeneous isotropic slab, under dominant TMZ or TEZ polarization, with the scattered field computed by FDTD that uses the separate field formulation
