Abstract :
This work presents the simulation of the intracavity contacted oxide confined vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSEL) including the thermal effects. The analysis of thermal, electrical and optical properties of these devices represents the different top mirror radii. Results show the optimal relation between the top mirror and oxide window radii of device is about 1.3-1.5
