Abstract :
The experimental investigation of inclined slot-loaded rectangular microstrip patch antenna has been carried out for dual-band operation using a single probe feed. In this case, two resonant frequencies occur due to interruption of the longitudinal and transverse current flowing on the patch and hence the proposed antenna acts as a circularly polarized antenna. It is observed that the frequency ratio of two resonant frequencies can be controlled from 1.87 to 2.45 by the inclination angle of the slot
