Application and Evaluation of Wireless Transmission Technique at Construction Job-site

This research investigates the feasibility of applying the wireless transmission of PDA or GPRS as a communication tool to inspection engineers. Application of such tools at construction job-sites can help all inspection engineers make a better construction management. Based on the development, all kinds of information regarding the construction activities such as standard specifications, figures, tables, equations, pictures and so on, can be developed and supplied to construction inspectors right at the construction job-site. This study also evaluates the performance of application result. At the final, a real case evaluation will also be done to illustrate the practice application.
