Abstract :
As the power of mobile phones continues to grow, they are rapidly becoming ubiquitous. Popularity is transforming them from simple voice-communication devices to advanced-communication devices that provide photo, text,music and Web access (e-mail, download), which is attracting attentions of Content/Service Providers. More and more value-added services have concentrated on the use of mobile phones. However, some issues are emerging, for example, the contents are overlapped, the quality of the mobile value-added services is becoming worse and worse, it is hard to manage and supervise CPs/SPs. Therefore,this paper first analyzes some issues of the present mobile digital content management business in HuBei mobile service market. Then, we propose a unified framework for digital content management business. The framework can integrate different mobile services for Content/Service Providers and provide a unified user interface. As an example of the unified framework, we incorporate different ringtone providers into the unified framework for China (Hubei) United Telecommunication Corporation.
