Abstract :
A new method for detection of aliasing and for reconstruction of aliased periodic signals has been developed. The basic system consists of two ADCs working at slightly different sample-rates. Therefore aliased spectral components are also shifted to each other. For certain ratios of the sample-rates the original frequency and phase of an aliased component can easily be derived. It is shown that the reconstruction is unequivocal up to half of the least common multiple of the two sample-rates
