Abstract :
A novel three-arm spiral antenna with a planar feed is presented and its behavior is investigated. The three outer arms are brought together to form a CPW line which can be directly connected to an unbalanced source. With this simple technique, a planar antenna is designed which does not need an impedance transformer or a balun
