Abstract :
A meander arm method for miniature Archimedean spiral antenna is presented. By changing the width of antenna arms and loading a copper strip ring on the other side of the antenna backed plane, each parameter of the optimized antenna is the same as, or better than, the classic antenna. This method provides an effective and efficient way for UWB antenna miniaturization
