  • Abstract
    An algorithm based on the angle variations of the current phasor under failure conditions is presented. The current phasor is calculated with the recursive algorithm of the discrete Fourier transform (RDFT). The behavior of the phasorpsilas angle is analyzed under frequency variations according to the standard (plusmn0.5Hz or 0.8% of the nominal frequency). Also the behavior of the phasorpsilas angle is analyzed under failure conditions, simulating different faults in different instants of the sinusoidal waveform of the current. Finally, the obtained algorithm is presented.
