Abstract :
Low precision and poor measure repeatability are existed in the traditional measure methods for motion precision of NC machine tool. Laser interferometer is adjusted difficultly and high cost. Therefore, new measure method for positioning precision of rotating axis of machine tool was presented and the new measure system was set up. The key element in the measure system is direct driven motor, which can realize high accuracy position control for rotating axis of turning-milling combined machine center (TMCMC). The configuration and measuring principle of the measure system are analyzed, the measuring errors of it is analyzed and experimented in this paper. The structure of the new measure system is simple and its cumulating error is low. Measure precision is high from the results.
