  • Abstract
    A simple method to determine the optimal coefficients for the higher-order stencils is presented. The method involves directly solving the resultant overdetermined system. The low dispersion errors computed based on these optimized coefficients validate the method. The method is expected to be equally efficient for even more complex stencils
