Abstract :
In this paper, the FDTD algorithm has been modified to allow one to investigate dispersive mediums in long range propagation. There are restrictions applied to the solution by using the techniques outlined in this paper which when obeyed conservatively produce results to difficult problems. An example of a bushfire profile has demonstrated the usefulness of this modified algorithm for application to new and complex propagation problems
